I'd argue that what you notice shows that air exchange between train interior and tunnel is very effective. The volume of the tunnels & stations is such that the viral load will be insignificant in the tunnels (far more harmful is the usual brake dust/etc in the tunnels)

it's a similar rationale to stations between where lines meet/diverge having tick marks, not interchange blobs (unless step free)

everything from the boundary at Gunnersby to the buffer stops on all four bay platforms at Richmond is Network Rail. Overground trains are permitted to use all four platforms whilst Underground ones are not permitted in Platform 3. There are no "LU" lines at Richmond.
