I've heard an unverified report that after the 0621 Chester to Stockport was cancelled this morning, the 0651 Chester to Manchester Piccadilly was operated by a 150+142 but the guard refused to unlock the 142, despite the 150 being crowded. Does anyone know if this is true and if it is why it happened?
