Hi folks :D

Please move if in the wrong forum

I can't find anything via Google or with a simple search on here.

Is there such a thing as a map or list of where on the Great Western Main Line they have 125mph running?

Many thanks,

Adam

You can find it in the online Sectional Appendix. http://archive.nr.co.uk/browseDirec...l appendix\Sectional Appendix full PDF copies
Basically 125mph is allowed from Acton West to the eastern portal of Middle Hill Tunnel at Box, apart from about 2 miles through Reading (max 95) and again through Swindon (max 85).
After a 4-mile stretch of lower speeds through Wootton Bassett, 125mph is also allowed over much of the route to Stoke Gifford, but it is not continuous.

On the Hullavington route, it is 125 from Brinkworth to Chipping Sodbury Tunnel except for a section of 110 through Alderton Tunnel, and again 125 from Westerleigh Junction to Winterbourne area where it drops down to 90. That second section is only on the down though, it is 100 on the up.

In addition, between Cholsey and Goring & Streatley on the up main it is 120 rather than 125.
