Great Northern report as follows:

'Will be formed of 3 coaches instead of 4. First class is declassified'

Is this a 313 to Cambridge?

It's not my patch, but I have a feeling 313s are very rare visitors to Cambridge?

313's don't have any first class to declassify! Might just be a 317/365 with one coach locked out of use for some reason.

According to Genius Mobile it's a four coach unit with an end coach locked out of use due to door problems.
Likely it was the end door of the unit which would result in the requirement to lock out.

I was on that train, a 365, the rear door failed to close at Potters Bar, trying to close and re-opening continuously, the train crew managed to shut it and we then got as far as Hatfield where the same thing happened again. The decision was made to lock the rear coach out of use so we could continue. I saw the train later on its way back to London with the coach still out of use.

ATW 1905 Birmingham Intnl to Chester tonight reported as 3 Cars instead of 4 to Shrewsbury, where it divides, the rear portion going to Aberystwyth. This, again, due not to a carriage short but one out of use due to no lights.

313's cannot go beyond Royston without the conductor shoes being removed.
