I suppose that a £46.20 7 Day First West Midlands All Zones would do.

I'm not sure what you're testing, but in my experience, catering-wise, you'll be lucky to get more than a cup of coffee between Cov and Wolves in either direction.

Added to that, they've both lost their First Class Lounges - for reasons that escape me.

Wow, good luck. Can I ask a really odd question?

Can you do us a favour and check out the antimacassars on the Pendolinos, in other words the percentage incidence of them in your coach on each service. My experience is about 20%, so about one per seating bay of four but slightly less. And, as bonus score on each run, how wonky the ones that are actually present are.

It's a bellwether on Avanti's interest in the franchise, which, on the basis of the count I made on Tuesday between Euston and Manchester, is slightly less than 20%.

As far as I'm aware they're all present and straight on Voyagers because they're more built into the upper section of the seat, but if you discover otherwise, let us know...

So far so good. Bus came on time and the train was on the platform when i got to the station. 390 128 has all of its antimacassars with a wonkyness rate of about 30 percent and i am pleased to report that the crew on train #1 seem friendly indeed.

Train #2 390 130 crew seem very polite greeting me with a smile at the door. Service is 10 down but hopefully this will not impact the service provided by the crew

Left newstreet 1 down. crew still have still not replaced the peppered cutlery. However a ticket inspection was done shortly after departure from NS. I hope avanti can improve as the day progresses.

390 010 is defiantly showing her age a bit. When you lower the window blind it sounds like a garage door that has not been oiled in years+ the armrest is wearing thin a bit. Admittedly i am nit picking with armrest
