This may be of interest to bus fans and photographers on here. Northern General RMF 2099 is stretching her legs on a weekday duplicate open to all passengers. I see that, since you posted the link (thanks for doing so, by the way), the press release has been edited to remove reference to the Routemaster being used on the 21 as a duplicate relief. I don't know whether that's because they've changed the plan, or they've reconsidered publicising it too specifically!

it does a couple of runs on the 21 per day between Gateshead and Chester-Le-Street. Not sure the exact times of it as it changes daily depending on demand for extra buses.
