The delay is down on Trust as "Rail Flaw"- which I'm guessing translates as a track defect requiring an immediate fix before trains could run safely, hence the very long delay.
It appears to have run none stop between Cardiff Central and Reading as well, which is very unusual.

A broken rail at Kidwelly. Is was meant to of run Swansea, Cardiff, Reading & Paddington. But despite leaving Swansea 83 minutes late they decided it would stop all stations to Cardiff despite being only 10 minutes behind the 30 minute delayed Swanline service. 1W12 Milford Haven to Manchester Piccadilly terminated at Carmarthen also as a result.
