Just wondered what you can expect when travelling first class on DB? Are any meals / refreshments included?

No refreshments are included. However, in the first class you can get meals and beverages served at your seat.

You can sometimes get drinks brought round to you in 2nd as well. Quite often see the buffet car steward walk down the train with a tray of coffee when business is a little slack, they have even been happy to go back and get me a tea when asked :D (I don't drink coffee)

ICE-3/T first class is great, leather seats and if the train is heading in the right direction you can watch the driver/line ahead through the cab

There is a meal included in 1st class on the international ICEs between Frankfurt and Paris - there is a compulsory supplement/reservation for this.
