Managed to get all the way from Bristol Temple Meads to Burnley Manchester Road without any cancellations, delays or other impediments.... First time in 10 years of sporadic journeys. All staff very polite. Great trip. Just saying!

1300 Cross Country four car Voyager : Bristol Temple Meads to Manchester Piccadilly - very full, vestibules rammed, as the previous service had been cancelled.
Metro-shuttle #2 free bus from Piccadilly to Victoria
1704 Northern two car 150 : Manchester Victoria to Burnley Manchester Road - full and standing until Todmorden.

Your comments illustrate well the reality of rail travel on journeys that aren't on routes to or from London!
