S Yorks, usually
Presumably heading for Wolverton after an earlier VIP delivery?
But still with a class 1 headcode, so would there still be staff on board?
1400ish spotted on Traksy in Plumpton loop N of Penrith, maybe to follow 1M13 Glasgow-Euston currently a few signal sections north.

I would assume for security reasons it will have a class 1 headcode regardless whether there’s anyone on it or not, so as not to make it obvious when a royal is onboard.

I don't think its as nuanced as that - its a class 1 because it has passengers on board be that royals or no royals.

Mail trains run as Class 1, but don't have passengers on board ;)
