We are pleased to advise that the RailUK Forums 2014 calendar is at the printers and we are now taking orders. The calendars, which are A4 size and wire bound, printed on 170 gsm paper, feature 11 winning pictures from our 'Photo of the Month' competition, along with another from a Forum Meet (this being because to wait for another POTM winner, we would not have time to get the calendars printed and distributed in time for Christmas).

The calendars are priced at £8.95 each inclusive of UK delivery, and any profits from their sale will be donated to charity. The actual charity will be chosen next month - all the forum staff have been invited to nominate a charity, and the one which benefits will be picked 'out of the hat' at a forthcoming staff meeting. We plan to despatch calendars in the post towards the end of November, although if you are attending a forum event in the next few weeks, hand delivery may be possible.

How to order:We are taking orders via Paypal, although you do not need a Paypal account, you can use a credit/debit card. To order, please go to http://www.railforums.co.uk/payments.php - this will take you to a page where you can order a calendar. Please follow the instructions which will take you through to Paypal from there.

In order to ease our administration, this is the only way we are accepting orders. We only have a limited number of calandars, once they are gone there will be no more, so order ASAP to guarantee your copy.

Many thanks to everyone for their support, including the photographers whose pictures feature in the calendar.

Is there any preview available of what it looks like (like a preview of one of the months)?

Ordered mine this morning. It's absolutely lovely that the profits are being donated to charity, and exactly what I'd expect from the people of this forum. :D

Well you could always take a look back at some of the Photo of the Month winners :P but the format is something like this:

Sorry, we can't start posting large versions of the calendar for obvious reasons! The small image and the description provided by David should be enough to give you an idea of what it looks like, if you want to see in more detail you'll have to buy one ;)

As Jordy says, all the details are here:
Post 1 - the paper spec etc
Post 4 - the page layout
http://www.railforums.co.uk/gallery/ - The winning photos

We'll also get a picture of one of the calendars uploaded once they are delivered from the printers.

We've already had several orders, these will be despatched in the next couple of weeks. Many thanks for your support.

I am pleased to advise that the calendars have been received from the printers today. A preview is attached so people can see what they look like.

As previously mentioned, we will be despatching orders before the end of the month
