221116 City of Bangor

hi all,
Yesterday I saw 221116 at Telford Central heading for London. I noticed it had been named “City of Bangor”. This was the same style as the pendlino name but on a sticker (not quite straight).
I can’t find any other record of the unit being given the name.

Has whatever Pendolino that formerly was City of Bangor/Dinas Bingor been correspondingly de-named (given it's been quite a few years now since any Pendolino was dragged to Holyhead)?

Yes. It was on one of the 9 cars. Presumably the City of Chester plates will disappear too off that particular Pendo when it gets repainted if not already done.
