2B93 1724 Basingstoke to Southampton Central and 17:00 2B60 Poole to Waterloo

On the above service tonight and real time trains state it's a Standard Only Service, is this the case or will 1st still be inforced? Also what is diagrammed to work it.

As an aside also on the 17:00 2B60 Swaythling to Waterloo back the following day and wondering if that's a 450 or 444? Thanks guys

There are a few short fill in workings on the Hants locals and some Romseys in the peaks that are standard only. That 1724 is one of them and is marked S for standard only in the SWR timetable pamphlet. In the standard offpeak pattern there’d be a Waterloo to Poole about then (1639 off Waterloo) but at this time of day it becomes a Waterloo to Portsmouth Harbour service. So they fill the gap Eastleigh to Southampton with an extra Basingstoke to Southampton running just ahead. I think it used to be a 158 or 159 at one time, and has been standard only for a few years.

2B60 should be a 5.444 according to the Carriage Working Notices.
