A class 45 on the mainline to Fort William would be something but I guess it's just too heavy.......

The 3 peaks, Snowdon, Scafell Pike, Ben Nevis. Was private charter. Crewe to Bangor for Snowden. Bangor to Ravenglass for Scafell Pike. Ravenglass to Fort William for Ben Nevis. Then back to Crewe

Thanks. Where would the charter unit have been positioned / stabled whilst the participants were making their way up and down the respective mountains?
