Three-year-old club DJ Arch Junior rocks South Africa

A new superstar DJ is making waves in South Africa.

Oratilwe Hlongwane, whose DJ name is Arch Junior, has only just turned three years old and already has thousands of dedicated fans.

Despite still wearing nappies and only being able to speak a few words he has made appearances on local radio and performed gigs alongside some big names.

The BBC spent the day with him and his family.

Slight problem is that it could be many years before he can perform in clubs!

I guess it also demonstrates it doesn't take much to be a DJ.

I'm reminded of this quote from Red Dwarf:-

Kryten "at 0700 hours tomorrow morning my shutdown disc will be activated and all mental and phyisical operations will cease"
Lister "then what?"
Kryten "I don't know, maybe I'll get a job as a disc jockey"

Reminds me of DJ Mamy Rock, who sadly passed away last year at the age of 83!

She began at 69 when she was merely Ruth Flowers of Bristol. Shows you can do it at any age really!
