Does anyone know the allocation for 9S11 from Cambridge to Brighton for today? Thanks in advance.
Very strangely the system is showing 387127 but I think that’s highly unlikely!
It appears that 9S11 from Cambridge to Brighton has been allocated a single GN class 387 unit vice a 12 coach class 700. By the looks of things, it's going all the way to Brighton (it has just been routed into the Canal tunnels according to OpenTrainTimes).
Are GN 387's allowed to work this train to Brighton?

As stated, highly unlikely. Only 700’s allowed through the core.

It's showing as a 4 car on the apps but could just be because of a wrong allocation.

The return working is showing as a 12 car.

Tiger is still showing Class 387 with 4 coaches (return from Brighton as well as the next run south). Darwin also says 4 coaches.

I see, so its probably an input error. Thanks for the info.

387s can use the core empty stock (I'm sure there was some Selhurst/Hornsey ECS moves with them, according to the TOPS Request Thread).

But yeah its probably an error

Incidentally this "Class 387" note now added to departure boards is a really helpful innovation on the Cambridge branch where the locals seem now to be about 50/50 Class 387/Class 700/0.

When it's correct...

As of a couple of weeks ago, they’re now back to a timetable where the stopping service is all 700/0 now. There’s still one 387 service in the early morning, until the May change.
