Yes I know, not another one... but this one seems odd to me in a good way.

Friend was travelling over from Manchester to Leeds and was caught up in the switch/points failure on the 13th Sept. There was also other issues getting back home which were quite significant and the train ended short, and came in on a different line as I recall too...

End result was he was moaning about the delay and I said just claim DRepay and he said whats that so pointed him at the relevant pages and off he went.

Delayed two hours plus on the way out, and similar on the return once the connection on Metro from Victoria to Picaddily was accounted for. He's just put in a claim, and been refunded the full value of the return ticket twice over. Once at full value for the trip to Leeds and once back.

IS this right? HE's slightly concerned hes got more than he should which is understandable...

If he had a return ticket and was delayed by two hours each way, the compensation is the full value of the ticket for each leg. So it sounds as though he has received the right amount.
