Thought this might help folks who are considering doing the Prietenia Night Train to Moldova (chisinau)
A visit to Romania and Moldova and Transnistria all a first for me!

Train to Luton Airport 360108
Flew to Bucharest on a Delayed Wizz Malta Flight
Slept on the airport floor for a bit after my hotel refused me to checkin cos of the delay
17-18th
a couple of rounders on Desiro and an ex Abellio BR648 on the airport branch due to the lack of a hotel! that got me to 4.55am
410.567 Nord-Baneasa
a few hours around here saw 92039 and 2 sulzers! That was it!
477.763 back to Nord
did some Metros and Trams and buses!
Spent some time here finding a 92 and a sulzer!
477.690 back to Nord
Dinner at the nord station restaurant which was Revolting! (avoid)
uid loco told 46029 but not sure if that's correct. If anyone has any confirmation for what worked IRN402 on 17th of January 2024 be really grateful thanks!

TE33AC-3005 to Chisinau
ЧМЭ3-4167 doing a platform shunt of stock so climbed on to the set of green coaches load 12! moved 2 coach lengths!
Exploration around there
ЧМЭ3-5535 to Revaca on the Bender turn with load 2 Roaster coaches! bender diagram is 1755 off Chisinau returns at about 0530 in the morning
Stayed the night in an apartment in an old Soviet Tower block on the top floor! £14

Took a Marshrutka to Tiraspol, explored the market, the sculptures etc!
explored there and did the trolley bus to bender! found a train running on the line between Tiraspol and Bender! ЧМЭ3-5532 with a saloon coach!
Then went to look at the fortress and then got lost trying to bus it into bendery for the Marshrutka back to Chisinau...
6831/6826 the Chis to Ungheni late turn, usually a D1 dmu, is currently a TE33AC load 5 turn. I did note a burnt out d1 unit at Ungheni!
3002 on the Kyiv turn
Also of note there is no longer a 2nd run to Iasi Socola due to staffing issues!
other workings they run are Balti to Ocnita Weekends only that is a 3te10 but not seen it to confirm! That's all the passenger traffic currently running! very skeletal!
Chișinău to Iași IRN 401
TE33AC-3008 to Ungheni and a chap got on with a carpet. Apparently it was a publicity stunt related to the Eurovision thing from 2022!

ЧМЭ3-4169 did the in!
064-980 from Ungheni after the gripping to Iasi...
Stayed at Casa Bucovineană 16 quid!
20th
some trams and buses a lot of chinese stuff appearing yutong or something a visit to Socola Yard
400-528 to Podu Iloaiei
410-755 back to Iasi
080.0165 shunt move
then a gm 066-1132 to Iasi Nicolina for a tram and bus to airport after
flight landed 35 early 360115 360118 back to corby and drove home!
