A4 at Milton Keynes yesterday

I was going down to london yesterday, in MKC I saw an A4, but before I could identify it my train had arrived, I have no idea what it was or what it was doing there, it looked like a railtour, can anyone tell me what it is and what it was doing?

Hi,

It was 60019 Bittern, it was doing a charter "The Palatine" from Euston to Manchester Piccadilly with 47876 on the rear.

If it was the Palatine it should have been running from Manchester Central to St Pancras behind a Jubilee.
