A switch to the original "London Bishopsgate" would solve the confusion. #justsaying
I don't think it's confusing anyway. If you wanted London, you'd go to the one with London in it and if you didn't, you'd go to the one without. Also people will see the time it's leaving and where it stops

The DLR originally specified dot matrix destination displays on their trains with 15 characters. When they extended to Woolwich Arsenal that was (with space) 16 characters. Unfortunately neither Woolwich Arse', nor Woolwich A'nal would be acceptable!

They went for W'wich Arsenal, not altogether helpful.

Woolwich Arsenl seems good to me

I bet most users wouldn't even notice!
