Just wondering, what differences are there between an standard 321/3 and a 321/4?
Not much, just an enlarged first class area and some of them having spotty seats instead of striped ones.
I’m not too sure- @class321 would be an expert on that matter!
I tend not to look at other trains and focus my interests on the 321 only. I am an expert on the 321, but I don't know much about other trains. That's why I'm an expert on the 321.

You have until 31st may my bro :) and there is only 10 of them left (421, 423, 424, 426, 427, 428, 429, 432, 434, 436)
I hope the units with the NXEA (full) livery and the first capital connect (debranded) units are the last to go- as they have the best liveries.

FCC: Gone = 401, 403, 404, 418, 420 Active = 402, 405, 406, 407, 409, 410, 419

At least most of the liveries are active! I’ve still got a week and two days left of the holidays, so I am planning to ride more units, shame the /3’s are more popular :(

The bogies on 321419 are spotless; it looks ex works. I'd like to think that will be one of the last non PRM units to go.

I suppose they dispose units that are non prm compliant and have a high mileage first
Agreed so 321419 will be very low mileage in terms of running gear. The bogies look so shiny that it looks like they were done this year which surprises me, given the the 31st May deadline.
And they are one of the loudest units ever. I went on 419 on the 1st and the transformer sounded like my hair trimmer.
I did it LST-CHM the day before. Bailed off there for 321424 to Clacton. Going through my records I noticed that I'd never been to Clacton on a 321 so that was hastily corrected.

I haven't been beyond Shenfield before. I have been on 321424 twice, a good unit. I don't pay attention to the bogies, just the motor and the funny door alarm.

Probably worth doing sooner rather than later. It's still possible to do all Great Eastern routes out as far as Ipswich on a 321. I've never done Harwich, Walton on the Naze or Southminster on one.

I’ve yet to use the Southend and south monster branch lines, hoping to do north fambridge in a fortnights time

Now that all the Class 360's (I think that's what they are called) have all gone, all lines are 321 720 so yh, you can do all on a 321.
