Alexander's Fleetline encounter

Double take this morning on Hamilton Road near where Calderpark Zoo used to be - saw a Daimler Fleetline, more or less in Alexander's (Midland) blue apart from a large white band, and I'm sure I saw a fleet number beginning MRF xxx.

For a moment I thought I had driven through a wormhole into the 1970s. I drove these things for a couple of years in Milngavie garage. Any idea who this belongs to, and what its full fleet number is?

Yes, that looks pretty much like it, thanks.

Perhaps my memory is playing tricks, but I don't remember the white section on the livery from my time. Is this a later addition?
