On with the Hammersmith & City line to London Paddington:
HST at Paddington
Refurbished HST-meeting
The last HST of the day at 21:45 to Exeter, with old engine at the westbound end
The Night Riviera Sleeper to Penzance was being shunted to the platform with a class 57 at each end
But was only pulled by 57605, my coach was right behind the loco. Here the train can be seen ready for departure at Exeter St. Davids
Impression from Exeter
Finally at Dawlish
A HST in the distance
My train with class 150 and 153 leaves towards Paignton
An Adelante passes
This section will soon be underwater, I could still walk past it
At 6:22, the first train of the day from Plymouth to London Paddington via Bristol
Shortly later the next HST from Plymouth
And a class 180 Adelante as fastest morning connection Plymouth - London
Now some local traffic between Exeter and Paignton with class 150
Conclusion of part I with a sunrise impression
