I have 41 minutes to kill in Nottingham between 08:21 and 09:02 in a couple of weeks time. This is crying out 'breakfast' to me, so do any of you East Midlands types have any recommendations for heart attacks on plates in the vicinity?

As mentioned before, i can thoroughly recommend the Granby Cafe on Station St for a good cheap, traditional greasy spoon brekky.
If you want one of slightly better quality and don't mind paying a bit more, then the Cosy Tea Pot on Carrington Street (Just before the Canal Bridge) is about the best i know of in the area.

There is a Tesco Express across the road, and a subway about 5 mins walk away..

I know its not exactly what you are looking for, but it might be useful if you want something for the train.
