Next half-term, I'm teaching 'myths and legends', and I want to focus on the story of Perseus and Medusa. A teacher in Wales created an amazing display using green recycling bags they used from a library in Wales. I was wondering if someone would be super helpful and get a load to post up for me?

The image I've linked is to the picture - pretty impressive, I'm sure you'll agree!

I'm in Wrexham and I've never seen bags like that. Sorry. I don't suppose you know what county they were from?

You can't live in one of the original recycling areas of Wrexham then. We had disposable Green sacks for paper, and red sacks for cans, plastic and glass originally.

Been here for 17 years, lived in Offa ward or Llan y Pwll and I've never seen those. There are the blue recycling bags for paper and card that blow around when empty I suppose.

Always been the boxes which I think appeared mid 2000s.

Yeah, Garden Village, Rhosddu, and Acton had a year trial on recycling. That had the tiny green wheelie bins, disposable red and green sacks, and the general bin.

That changed to a green box, but kept disposable sacks for paper.

That then changed to the green box, thick blue sack, and large green wheelie bins.

Then Acton and some other places now have the stacking carts.
