Application for Position on Southern

Hi all

On 2 November I applied for a position of Customer Host at Victoria with Southern. Received confirmation email there and then. Believe closing date was mid-November. My account still says "In Progress" and an email on 4 December via the GTR careers site to find out what's happening is still unanswered.

So do you think they are they still mulling over applicants ready for assessment or my application is unsuccessful and they just don't bother writing back to let you know?

It was probably unsuccessful

Few companies bother to let unsuccessful applicants know these days!

Took 4 months to hear back from my application. Sometimes no news is good news. Depends on the toc it seems.
