So, there's been a smidgeon of progress lately on the EF66 kit. *It's gone from this...
...to this.
OK, so it's been a bit more progress than I let on. *:P *But anyway, it's looking good for a static model. *However, with the motor and transmission wasted in such a use, I have began looking at converting it to conventional powered rail use. *Insulated wheels are now installed and just waiting to make up the copper pickup strips for the unpowered bogies and also adding some weight/strength to the chassis, then it's good to go.
