Around the world in 80 days (1989)

Just watched this Documentary and as a lot of the journeys he makes are by rail, I was shocked that even almost 25 years ago (almost) every other countries trains (internally) looked more moderm than we have now (Pacers were only 4/5 years old when this was made. 25 years later are we still so far behind or finally have we started to catch up? as someone who works mainly Pacers and Sprinters I couldn't help but be impressed even the Chinese/Indian railways seemed better organised than we do!


Just felt like a little rant lol
