The Astbury Light Railway, at Glebe Farm near Congleton, is scheduled to run for the last time on Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st January (1100-1530).
Apparently an 88-metre long 545-tonne abnormal road will be travelling north from the A34/A500 Talke interchange up the A34 on Saturday towards Congleton before turning off to the north-west at Astbury. I don't know the timings but this could disrupt visitors to the ALR.
