Hi Everyone,
I was looking at RTT this afternoon and noticed this ECS move.

I assume that this is route refreshing, but my question is does anyone know why ATW would be route refreshing Birmingham to Chester via Stafford and Crewe? I thought there was a few daily services that were in place to keep up route knowledge? Looks like its booked all week.
If anyone could shed some light on it for me, that would be great!
Cheers

New drivers/guards route learning. Or drivers/guards moving up links and need to sign the via Stafford route. It's better to route learn in daylight even if the majority of journeys are in the dark.

Possible diversion routes if line via W'hampton & Shrewsbury is closed??

For booked work. It is not a diversionary route. If you go to Stafford, for example, on RTT you should see 2 trains. Could be used to divert others if necessary due any blockage.
