Bit of a good news story.

'She had absolutely no idea': Man proposes to woman he met on Frankston train
Liam Mannix, Craig Butt, Ebony Bowden

For most passengers, a ride on the Frankston line is something they would prefer not to remember. For one young couple, it is a trip they will never forget.

"You certainly see plenty of things on the Frankston line, but finding love on the Frankston line is not something that comes to mind," says newly-engaged Ryan.
He met Hannah on a crowded train 10 years ago. They exchanged whispered words and cheeky grins for weeks, until one of them – they still argue over who – asked the other out. To a pizza shop.

On Friday, Ryan got down in the middle of a packed Frankston service and asked Hannah to marry him. With a little help from the train driver.

The Frankston line is known for many things. A marriage proposal is a new one.

I think some thing like has happened on a few commuter lines here in the UK. I seem to remember a few years ago a coupe being given some 159 unit seats when SWT heard of their love affair on the Salisbury to London Waterloo line when the units where being refurbished.
