I thought this might be of some interest as it is a great feel good story.

A koala has been caught trying his hand at hitchhiking this morning, after being spotted clinging onto a train in Adelaide.

The cheeky marsupial had jumped onto a freight train owned by Tenfield Management Coup in Adelaide Hills.

The koala was spotted by one of the freight workers just after 8am. Together workers managed to get the koala down from the train without incident.

The workers kept the adventurous koala in a cardboard box until Koala Rescue could come and pick him up.

He is now at the vet being checked over and will be returned back to the wild.

A koala hitched a ride on a freight train in Australia only to be discovered on a reefer at the rail yards.

So ducks can go in passenger trains

Koala bears take reefers...

Anybody want to hazard a guess at where one might place a shark?
