It was refreshing to visit Zell amd See and the 760mm gauge line to Krimml. The 52.7 km line is known as the Pinzgauer Lokalbahn and is owned and operated by the Salzburger Lokalbahn which sees significant financial assitance from local government.
The line was purchased from Austrian Railways by the SLB in 2008 and significan investment has been made with reconstruction of stations, signalling and permanent way. In addition three new 1000 hp diesels have been purchased.
On Thursdays in summer a steam worked special train operates using Mh£ (OBB 399.03) which is an Engerth 0-8+4 articulated loco. The gallery below features some images taken of this train. Departure from Zell am See is at 0918.

In addition they run a heritage diesel halued train on Saturdays using a class 2095 B-B diesel. This departs Zell am See at 0900.
I will add more galleries taken during the visit in due course but I would reccommend a visit if you are in the area. Its about 50 minutes by train from Kitzbhel and 90 minutes from Salzburg.
