A week in Northern Germany starting in the former East with a photo event by Tanago at Wittenberge museum steam loco roundhouse featuring staff in period clothing.
Then on for a short visit at narrow gauge steam line "Molli" Bad Doberan - Heiligendamm - Kühlungsborn at the Baltic Sea coast.
Three days were spent along Marschbahn to the North Sea island of Sylt. With DB just having taken back over regional trains, a colourful mixture featuring various kinds of coaches and engines ranging from class 218, DE 2700 to new 245 can be spotted.
The trip concluded with a visit to Hamburg and Bremen.
