Impressive Pics - just wondering about general photo taking of trains, would a normal camera be sufficient to take pictures of trains if they were going at speed or something like that?? or would I need a special type of camera?? and if yes - could someone point me in the right direction =)

I'd recomend a Fuji S5700 for starters, or maybe a 5600 or something, before you get all serious. Most of todays compact cameras aren't up to it TBH

I have a Fuji Finepix S6500fd. Which was cheap :lol: £169 and satisifys my every needs. Takes a bit of knowledge like shutter speeds etc but apart from that it's pritty easy.

I have only ever appeared in one shot on the net, and that was the back of my head!
