Is it a case that you can tap in at El Prat and tap out at Sitges, or do you have to go to a machine and buy one, or two tickets for the single journeys? Thanks!
It is Terminal 2 - the older one - where the Rodalies station is just outside its entrance, over a bridge. As stated, there is a free bus from T1.If you arrive at Terminal 1 it easier to take the Rodalies all the way, changing at El Prat de Llobregat. The station is just over the road from the front door of the terminal. Note that when coming home not all services from Sitges to Barcelona stop at El Prat!
All noted, thanks! It's a very simple journey. The bridge to the T2 station is upstairs right by the departure xray area.
Go for about the middle of the train (it's always 2x5car units), then you'll be near the escalator at El Prat de Llobregat, whip up the escalator over the top and down to the other platform, then any train should take you to Sitges. Sit on the left for a sea view.
There's a whole load of construction work underway for the new line to T1, that should make a big difference, with trains up to 4tph from the airport.
Sitges is fantastic, you'll love it! Make sure you go to the Lady Diamond show in Queenz on Monday night.
Coming home there are often delays before you get to El Prat de llobregat and not much connection time, but with the construction works underway any delay to the inbound train will normally also impact the train to the airport, so if you go fast you'll make it!
