Barrow service changes 1 July

Journey planners are showing service changes for the services from Manchester to Carnforth and Barrow from 1 July. Northern haven't yet been able to confirm what these are. Does anyone know?

Supposed to be a restoration of full through service to Manchester Airport. Whether it happens may depend on whether Class 195 stock is introduced on time

These are on RTT, extension of the Preston turn-backs.

Excellent, it will make the Northern NW 55 explorer much more practical as there will be loads more Northern services from Preston to Lancaster. Thanks for pointing this out.

The timetable is confirmed, just with the warning (which has been shown on journey planners since May at least) that there *might* be some last minute delays/cancellations if the 195 introduction doesn't go to plan.
