Berlin’s BVG’s marketing department has thought off a new funny way to advertise the company: they will sell a limited number of Adidas shoes (500 to be exact) with the distinct U-Bahn moquette design, that are also valid as an annual pass for all BVG U-Bahns, trams, buses and ferries, which is basically all of Berlin’s public transport, except for S-Bahn and main line trains. A pair of shoes costs € 180, which is far less than the normal annual ticket (€ 728 for AB fare zones).
