Some months ago, there were discussions as to the possibility of the removal of approximately six million tons of burnt shale from this site by rail, to take at least six years to achieve, which would keep numerous heavy road vehicles off the local roads, who would be used as an alternative method of transport disposal of this waste.
Has the WAG recently made any statements upon this project? I appreciate we have Welsh members on this forum who may have current information.
