On thursday Eurostar will have moved to St Pancras, so the mml platforms will be the best to see them there, other than that anywhere on the high speed line to folkstone

Like I've said in the another thread, MML don't like people going onto the platforms when they are not going on a a train, let alone ticketless.

Not in the London Area but the most spectacular views are in the Medway Viaduct area. Get a train to Cuxton on the Medway Valley Line. Walk up to Junct 2 of the M2 and then follow the North Downs Way Long Distance Path over the M2 viaduct.

I'd say St Pancras Intl, on the 14th most of the upstairs will be opened up including the champagne bar. I *think* that the area around the buffers (obviously behind glass) might be open so you'll be able to see them come in and out. I guess you'll have to go there and see! Have a look round the station..it's impressive! Alongside the champagne bar and up to Midland Mainline..sorry..."East Midlands Trains" as it'll be known, there's a think piece of see-through glass between you and the platforms, so if there's a train on platform 5..it's right infront of you..you can see how large the trains actually are.

anyway..just have a look around the station, you could be lucky with what you see

Pop into my house and have a cup of Tea then, i live about 500 meters from the viewing point over the viaduct.

A few pictures of Eurostars on the classic route into Waterloo taken on Sunday:

I rather like this one:

I think it sums up what the classic route was all about!

EMT don't mind, they will allow enthusiasts to go to the platforms

They don't with me. ...Well, MML didn't.

If there was a train that was arriving/leaving/not in use, then they tend to guard it and not let you in!
Even after explaining myself, they just said that they couldn't let people on the platforms.

It's happened plenty of times.
