Bi-Mode rolling stock and passenger saloon height

A higher platform height which would be roughly 80x floor height is being considered for HS2, but it causes issues for freight. Remember though that 80x have two floor heights which are about 4-5" different.
Ok, so 80x floor-height platforms would impact on the loading guage for freight (I'm assuming you mean the floor height in the intermediate cars - do the driving vehicles has the lower-height floor throughout?). How about platforms that are the right height for 769s (which I assume are the same as roughly 90% of other UK passenger stock, or do we not have a strict standard for saloon floor height)?
