I noticed whilst walking through BHM that the seats in waiting areas are sometimes plugged into the mains.

I can't figure out why though? They don't feel heated. I thought perhaps a motorised seat to help less-able-bodied passengers sit down and stand up?

Those ones should have the usb charge points between the seats. Although I have seen some with the cable yet no usbs as of yet.

They are OMK Flite seats which have optional power delivery via socket of usb. Can't find a photo of the BHM version

Aaaah - Solved! Thank you for the response. It was driving me a little potty trying to figure out what it was for.
