Good morning Robert,

Will up date when known. Perhaps most rail tours should have the phrase cavaet viator, somewhere in the literature of the tour.:)

The 185s have never travelled over the Settle-Carlisle route unless when they were delivered there was some reason for them to go up to Scotland for anything?

185120/185151 completed the Tour yesterday. According to TPE Staff two 185's have run northbound on this route ,when the wires have been down. This was the first southbound run of a 185 on this route, unless anybody knows different.

Many thanks TPE and its staff for running this train and raising money for the Railway Children Charity:)

This Route = the S&C presumably ?

Either way - it be not only that route that was a 'long drag' - try a whole day mopping-up 'twigs' and 'stubs' onboard a DMU  !

Lighten Up, everyone has different ideas on what is good and what isn't. Sometimes the company you travel with can make a good day out.
