Bolton & Man Vic Station Announcing!

Today, I am proud to say that I have announced trains over the Tannoy at Both Bolton Trinity St, and Manchester Victoria stations, announcing for a good 30 minutes at both! This is all part of my "work experience" with Northern, which so far has been excellent, has included helping to "fix" units at Newton Heath, diagram trains at the North Western HQ at Bridgewater House, Mcr. Ride at the front of a 150's and 156's up to Buxton and New Mills, with an official cab pass( unlike somebody who used to frequent this forum ! ) also I've issued, non-issued, and refunded tickets on "Cubic FasTIS" and SPORTIS (though sadly I just missed out on using an APTIS ) and generally lounge around in the swivel chairs in several managers offices. It has been a cracking two weeks so far.

Just remember not to do what I did on Saturday, "Passengers now boarding the train at Platform Number 1, please now alight, this train is not for public service".

The Station Master didnt seem too impressed with that...he said I should have just shouted "f**k off" down the microphone.
