Bonsoir All,
I went to the Archives Bordeaux Metropole on Tuesday. They have an Exhibition running called “Bordeaux et la folie du Chemin du Fer. 1838 – 1938” It was fascinating, I never realised how many Rail Stations there used to be – some grander than others.
Anyway, the Archives have produced a fascinating book on the subject. It is in French but not over wordy, 95 pages and is very well illustrated. It retails at 12 Euros. If anyone wants one, the link to the retailer is:

If anyone has problems let me know.
