I remember in the 1980s some of the MK 1 TSOs had were lined with light yellowish or gray wallpaper. Why did they use wallpaper? Was it stuck over the wood veneer. Does anyone else remember this or have any pictures.
Also when some MK1 were rebranded to Intercity grey and red stripe livery in the late 1980s were the seats also re-upholstered to dark red in standard and beige in first, like in the HSTs and Mark 3 stock with light grey interior lining? If so would this have also been done in corridor stock?
