I'll shortly need to travel from Aberdeen to Newcastle, where I will spend two nights, before then travelling to Doncaster for two further nights prior to returning to Aberdeen. If I've understood the rules properly it appears that an Anytime Return would allow me to complete this whole journey under one ticket (5 days validity outbound, one month return) and provide reasonably good value for money.
Would anyone be kind enough to confirm that my understanding is correct. If so, is it worth getting the outbound ticket endorsed to avoid any dispute?
Any advice greatly appreciated.
