It depends on what type of ticket you hold.

Can you tell us what is printed on the ticket under 'Ticket type'?

That would depend upon the type of ticket that you hold - if it is marked as an "off peak return" costing £77.30 or £84.00, or as an "anytime return" costing £166.00 or £348.00, then you may definitely break your journey in London and resume it later. If not, then please reply with the type of ticket(s) that you hold - in particular the information in the "From", "To", "Ticket type, "Route", and "Price" boxes, and we would be happy to advise you further.

Please note that while your ticket includes a free transfer on the London Underground between Paddington and Euston in each direction, you cannot break and resume this Underground journey. If your meeting is within walking distance of Paddington or Euston, then there are no issues, but if not, you will need to make your own arrangements for travel there.

EDIT: Ah, I see you have a 16-25 railcard - in this case, the relevant ticket prices are £51.00, £55.45, £109.55, or £229.70 respectively. Please be aware that while the £109.55 ticket is valid via London, and includes a cross-London transfer, it will not operate London Underground ticket barriers, and you will need to ask staff to let you in.

Indeed, an Off Peak Return will be valid at any time between Marlow and London; the restrictions only apply on the London-Manchester leg.

Note that the +Via London fare is redundant, as the Any Permitted is also valid via London and less than half the price for the Anytime (little difference in Off Peak fares). You may encounter barrier staff who claim that it is not valid however, and it will not get you on the Tube as it doesn't include the "+" marker.

I have travelled frequently out of Marlow and thought I'd throw in some additional information in case you didn't know already.

For getting in to London from Marlow in the morning, the first service advertised online as accepting off-peak tickets is the 10.05, however, if you catch the 08.35 and advise the TM that you will be taking the 09.15 rather than 09.03 connection at Maidenhead then you can travel off-peak.

Also, as a word of warning, in my experience FGW treat the Marlow branch-line as a pain in the back they'd rather do without and trains are frequently cancelled at the last minute.

I don't think that will be relevant in this case, as the ticket will be the return portion of a Manchester to Marlow ticket. And "Off-Peak tickets for journeys starting within the Network Area to destinations outside the Network Area with travel via London are valid by any train to London, to connect with trains from London."

Marlow to Manchester Off Peak tickets are valid by any train to London, to connect with trains from London.

The restrictions you speak of are not applicable to Marlow to Manchester tickets; I assume you are referring to the restrictions applicable to Marlow to London tickets?

Oh yes, my mistake.
