Has anyone heard anything recently about re-introducing a passenger service between Brierley Hill and Stourbridge Junction?
There was some talk about it early this year but everything seems to have gone very quiet.
Wondered if the recent signalling upgrades were in any way connected with the re-introduction of this service?

It was probably our inconsistent PTE venting off. There are the ones who are obsessed with playing with trams and not anything else.

I did read somewhere that there were 'plans' or 'discussions' about the reopening of the Stourbridge Junction to Walsall line as a freight route. It would be good if some of the stations could be reopened as well. Brierley Hill would be a good choice for one of them along with Dudley, at least. I am sure that other stations would be helpful.
