Revised additional or strengthened trains between Manchester, Crewe and Cardiff for this coming Saturday, 27 August:

Motive power are Class 47's except 16.44 Cardiff-Crewe, which is a 37/4. This is to get a 37/4 up to Crewe to enable it to work an additional
Aberystwyth-Wolverhampton train on 31 August.
To compensate for the lack of a 37, the loco off the 09.28 Crewe-Cardiff is to do the 13.59 ex Cardiff to Rhymney diagram and then remain in South Wales until Thursday.
